A year that was – 2014

May 2014, the month that I have decided to begin this journey.

48 posts later, it has been a truly enriching one. That process of putting your thoughts together and typing it out can be a struggle sometimes (hello writer’s block). But I have been constantly learning through writing. Going through the first few posts still makes me cringe sometimes, but I do hope that I have improved along the way.

Since it is the last day of the year, I guess a little appreciation and gratitude will go a long way. A big thank you to my family and friends for being my rock and supporting me throughout this wonderful journey. But really, my sincere thanks would go out to the blogging community and readers for dropping by; not forgetting your inspiring kind comments. Thank you for constantly being my main drivers to write and photograph better.

Here’s wishing you a great 2015 ahead, and of course a better year for my beloved country – Malaysia as well. It has been a really tough year for all of us, but we are grateful for the love and support received from our fellow countrymen and also from all over the world. It is heartening to see that love is all around us.

Happy New Year!

Cheers, Audrey Tho 🙂

Thank you!

So it has been,

  • 3 months (well almost, just a few days shy!)
  • 21 posts

I had a rough artsy picture on my mind for the past few days to commemorate my first 1,000 views tonight(don’t you just love milestones?!)  However my post on Absolute Coffee Stop kinda blew that idea off as it’s now 10% past my expectation, so I’ve decided to put them down in words instead.

Special mentions go out to:

  • My family (for clearing the table so I could get a cleaner shot haha!)
  • Friends/Colleagues (for the utmost love & support, as well as clearing my space)
  • Visitors near and far
  • Cafe/Restaurant Owners (for the hospitality)

It had been a real humbling experience thus far, and I really had fun along the way with this food journey of mine. I hope you had some fun exploring as well 🙂

Beside celebrating this mini milestone of mine, feedback is valuable as well. A click on the poll below would be great:

If you would like to share on your favourite place that I’ve yet to review, I would definitely love to hear from you at subanggirleats@gmail.com! 🙂 Thanks guys for the wonderful journey!

p.s: I should probably do a better celebration on my 5,000 views milestone.
